The client installed GRP pipes 10 years back for running power plant which are suffered from several failures through out the overall operational life.
Pipe range DN 300 up to DN 1400, GRP, PN 10, SN 5000 for AG and UG Installation.
Engineering Approach prepared the study to find the failure root cause analysis, and stress analysis for aged GRP piping. The study involved several meetings, interviews, sample testing and visual inspection for failed samples in order to investigate in depth the possible root causes of overall failures. EA prepared as set of recommendation and actions in order to avoid reoccurrence of GRP piping failures.
